Vanessa has worked with area nonprofits for over 35 years. Her area of expertise is in stakeholder engagement, business partnerships, grant research and writing, community collaboration, disability access and program development. She is serving her third term as an elected school board member focusing on the needs of rural schools, ensuring equitable practices.
Vanessa spends her free time as the Vice-Chair of the Lane Education Foundation while specializing in fundraising for augmentative communication methods and rural school access to programming. She holds a Masters in Public Policy and Administration and Nonprofit Management.
